The year is 2300... Welcome to Dirt Empire.
In Dirt Empire you play as a mutant named Amper. You've lived your whole life in a prestigious academy for Mutants, but now it's finally time to explore the desolate wasteland! Travel from Bio-Dome to Bio-Dome in this dark comedy RPG romp from the creator of Trash Planet and Hellbound.
Dirt Empire features a diverse cast of 8 playable characters, a morality system (which greatly effects the story) , a bonding system, and a unique 'actions'-based twist on the RPG combat you've grown to know and loathe! For those who love a good challenge, the "Trashed" difficulty setting will demand that you manage your resources effectively in order to survive! If that sounds tedious and horrible, then just play in normal mode! No sweat!
Dirt Empire is a technically a sequel to Trash Planet, but don't worry: you don't need to play Trash Planet in order to understand the story! It's just set in the same world. Dirt Empire has been developed specifically with new players in mind.
Game Developers Note:
The file available for download is an incomplete version of DIRT EMPIRE. Between my career (Criminal Defense Lawyer) and my band (Fight Back MTN) I was unable to find enough time or motivation to complete this project... FOR NOW!
However, you can download what I have completed of the game and tell me what you think. If I get enough positive feedback (or any at all) I may be able to finish the game.
Any bugs you find in the game are obviously going to be fixed at some point, but feel free to point them out in the comments anyway, just so I don't miss them.

Well, it's only been 3 years since I played Trash Planet... Dunno why I took so long to get around to this, but it's really great - played up to the current end of your work.
You have such a unique voice, it's been a blast to try out your work, very much including this game! You have a real knack for writing fun characters (and also for those real *oof* moments...) and the overall vibe of your work is great - funny, sad, crazy, inspiring all at once.
There's quite a bit more here to play that most people might guess (~6 hours for me) from reading that it's incomplete and what is there is well done and almost totally bug free.
There also seem to be some variable paths based on your choices, so could be replayable too.
A big recommend from me!

- A couple bugs I noticed, since you asked:
1. The squibbon after leaving the school doesn't actually restore the party (although it says it does) - I played on normal, not trashed mode.
2. In New Kentucky, there is one (un-enterable, unimportant) building with passable walls on the outside. Doesn't let you go out of bounds or do anything too serious, just an aesthetic issue, I guess.
